We collect only what you send us through our enquiry form or by email, we use it only to reply to you, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
Who we are
MedPort Africa Group ("we", "us") is a South African regulatory consultancy for medical devices and medicines. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here under the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

What we collect
When you send an enquiry, we collect:
- your full name and work email address
- your organisation and the role you are contacting us in
- what you need help with, your country, and anything you tell us about your product
- a record of your consent and the time you sent the enquiry
Please do not send us information about anyone's health through the form. We do not need it to answer a regulatory enquiry.
Why we use it
We use your information only to reply to your enquiry and, if you go ahead, to discuss and provide our services. We process it because you consent when you send the form, and because it is needed to take steps towards an agreement you ask us about. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Who we share it with
- FormSubmit (formsubmit.co), a third-party service that delivers form enquiries to our email inbox. Its servers are outside South Africa, so your enquiry is transferred abroad when you send it.
- Our email provider, which stores the messages we receive.
- Google Fonts, which supplies the typeface on this site. Your browser requests the font from Google, which receives your IP address.
We share your information with anyone else only if you ask us to, for example when introducing you to a licensed partner, or if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to two years after our last contact with you, unless we enter into an agreement with you, in which case we keep records for as long as the law requires. You can ask us to delete your enquiry sooner.
How we protect it
Access to enquiries is limited to people at MedPort Africa Group who need it to respond. Our website and email use encrypted connections.
Your rights
Under POPIA you can ask us to:
- confirm whether we hold information about you, and give you a copy
- correct information that is wrong or out of date
- delete your information
- stop using your information, by withdrawing your consent
Email hello@medport.co.za and we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Regulator.

We may update this notice. The date at the top shows when it last changed.
